Hello bloggers :D
Today I’m going to talk about a controversial topic: Euthanasia. The first time I heard about it, I thought it was a respetable practice.
The case of Craig Ewert is one of the most famous, he was a man who lived on England and had to travel to Switzerland to euthanasia. He had the same disease that has Stephen Hawking, and they made a documental called: “Right to Die?”. Here goes a link:
I don't really have a religion, but catholicism is my family's religion and they say euthanasia is something against God’s will. I think this is something without arguments because they also say God gave us the right to take decisions, so you shouldn’t be seen like a sinner if you practice it.
Also, the chilean government has a traditional way of thinking and penalizes this practice. I think this is concordant with all the stupid things they do and with their intolerance. I wish one day this practice could be legal, because it’s really difficult for an average person to travel to another country just to die.
I think we should empathize with the persons who would like to stop suffering a disease, they take a difficult decision because they leave their family, friends and dreams. I guess we shouldn’t make them more problems, they already suffer a lot, so I agree with euthanasia because I think is a right we all have.

Finland, the place I'd love to visit
Hello! today I’m going to talk about one of my dreams, and that’s travelling around the world.
The country I have always wanted to visit is Finland. Why? That’s easy, because is one of the countries ubicated in the Arctic Circle, it means that if you go to this country, you’ll see one day when the sun will be above the horizon for 24 continous hours, and another day when the sun will be below the horizon for an entire day.
I know a lot of things about Finland, it’s a country situated on the Northern Europe, there are no many persons on there. This country has one of the most beautiful nature, boreal landscapes and a lot of snow. The weather is always cold, they don’t have more than 20ºC on summer, and it reaches frozen temperatures on winter, even below -40ºC. Also, is one of the most prosperous countries of the region, the country has a highly dremocratic political and they don’t have corruption.
I would like to go to that country one day, and learn their lenguage and manners. I’d like to visit many landscapes and take a lot of pictures, because I imagine this place is amazing. If I’d have the oportunity, I’d like to live there, because since I was a little girl, I loved all the countries with arctic climate.
That's everything! :)

I love movies!
Hi bloggers, how are you? Hope you’re fine. I’m almost sure that all of you know Cuevana. The amazing heaven of free online movies. Well, I’m a fan of this website because I don’t really like going to Cinema, and it’s just sad when you watch a movie and it’s extremely boring and then you noticed that you paid for it. I’m not sure if you have felt this, but wasting your time and your money is something that messes everyone around.
So, as you may predict, most of the time I watch movies online or I download them, but I don’t really like to do this last. To watch a movie, I waste a minute or two as the movie charges at Cuevana, then I close the door of my room, close the curtains and everything is black. I have my own cinema in 5 minutes for free.
Cuevana has a lot of movies, and I have seen chileans films too, but I don’t really like them. My favourite is a japanese film called “Spirited Away”. It’s an animation film, all characters are created by Hayao Miyazaki. It’s a fantasy-adventure film, it has a lot of magic, mysticism and characters related to japanese culture. Maybe that’s one of the reasons I love it. I’ve seen this like ten times and I never get bored (and I’m sure I never will). I totally recommend this film, if you want to travel around a new fantasy world, you must watch Spirited Away.
So, the movies I like are all the sensitive ones, movies with a message, or movies that talk about the life of an inspirational person, like biographycs movies. I hate all common american films, with cheerleaders and stuff. I don’t think they really send a message, so that’s why I don’t really like them.
Sometimes I think I’d like to make a film about my life, but it wouldn’t be really great. My life is almost common, I’ve lived great and bad times, as everyone, so maybe my movie would reflect the evolution of my mind and my soul, meeting new persons and learning how to live without making anyone suffer.
So that's everything, see you later!

The New Term
Hello bloggers, did you miss me? Well I did (I love writing on my blog). So, I’m here to talk about this new term on my academic life. As you can see, I started clases again on November, and that’s pretty strange, obviously, because usually we finish classes on December.
We were 6 months on a strike, a lot of time, and finally we decided to start classes again, but our semester will be short: just 2 moths.
Now I have 8 subjects: English IV, a General Formation Course (I have to make a website of my career for this one), Psychiatry, Developmental Psychology II, Social Psychology II, Qualitative Methodology, Cognitive Neuroscience and Introduction to psychological assessment.
I think I like all the subjects, but my favourite one is Developmental Psychology.
Well, I don’t have many expectations, I feel like this time won’t be enough to learn all the necessary, and clearly I won’t have time to spend on myself, or being with my family on christmas, or partying on new year (in fact, I have a test the day after New Year) but honestly... I’m excited, on the strike I felt quite vague so now I’m focused on studying and learning.
Okay, that’s everything! See you soon :D

My birthday is coming!!! D:
Hello everyone! How are you? I hope you’re better than me. The fact is that I’m really depressed and a little bit nervous because my birthday is in two weeks and I don’t want to! I have never liked birthdays, or thinking about me being older and older everytime.
I’ll be 20 years old and, for me, it’s so tragic. It’s so different to say I’m 19, than saying: I’m 20. It’s like, when you’re 20 there’s no turning back, but when you’re 19 it’s like: “hum... okay still young”.
What a tragedy.
Well, the only way it could be better is (obviously) having a great party. But I don’t think I’ll do something, because I don’t like to be host of parties. It’s too much responsability and, as you may predict, I hate responsabilities. I would love to turn the time into past and be a child again.
Anyways, I was talking with some friends and I was thinking about celebrate my birthday at “los pastos” of the university, so you, who’s reading this... celebrate with me my 20 years old birthday :D
Well... thinking coldly, maybe birthdays aren’t so horrible... I always look at my mom in her birthdays and she's so happy all the time, is so nice... I wonder why I hate birthdays so much.
I guess I think like this, because I have this “forever young” thought and it makes me hate everything closer to “old age”. I don’t want to be an adult and have responsabilities, but I think that’s something really immature too, and I have to overcome it.
Also, I don’t like birthdays because I feel like I haven’t done anything for me and my life and that makes me really sad, I think that study isn’t really relevant, I would like to have a “life plan”, goals to effort for and dreams to make true.
Maybe this date is here for something important, and it’s to make me open my eyes and say: okay, stop wasting your time.
As a very good song from The Strokes would say: "It's your free time to free minds or for falling apart?"
I'll think about that haha
Love and Peace to everyone, see you soon! :D

we're going to your house... NOW.
Hello everyone!!!
Have you ever think about pictures? I never thought about them as something important, actually, I hated to take pictures of myself when I was a little girl. They scared me, because one day I watched a movie where the protagonist lost his soul when he was photographed D:
Anyway, with the time I noticed that pictures could be an excellent way to keep the memories alive, so when I was like.. 14, I wanted to take a lot of pictures of almost everything!
Well, today I’m going to talk to you about one of my favorite picture that brings me a lot of memories. So, here we have it!
This picture shows me and one of my best friends: Lily (I call her Lilu), laying on a couch. We were taking stupid pictures on the balcony of the apartment from my friend Pablito. If you watch it carefully, you can notice a characteristic Valparaiso hill in the behind, because we were on the beach!! :D
So, as you may predict, this picture has a long story: we were on winter vacations from past year, and Santiago-city was so boring that me, my friend Pablo, Lily and my ex-boyfriend decided to go to the beach. Pablo has a sister who lives in Valparaiso, so he called her and told her with fury: HEY PAMELA (his sister)! WE’RE GOING TO YOUR HOUSE... NOW!!! It was so funny! I just remember and start laughing! Well, Pame was really impressed but she didn’t make a problem of it and receive us with her arms wide open (she’s awesome).
So, there we were. We arrived to Valparaiso, to Pame’s apartment, and started laughing and eating and all that. All of a sudden, me and Lily watched the balcony and taráan! It was an “L” sofa that looked so comfortable so, we jumped on it and started taking pictures (actually Lilu took it, she loves to take pictures). The picture that I’m showing you is one of the most “decents” ahaha, in the rest we make ugly faces and all that.
Those were greeeeat vacations. And I love this picture because it shows me and Lilu with big smiles and is so cute and, please, how could you not love it!? I watch it and just remember everything, I feel so good because I think about her and our beautiful friendship, and the amazing times we’ve spent together and all those things. I feel it like magic.
So, definitely, I think camera is one of the most amazing inventions created by the human. Sometimes I think that I’m just forgetting about every experience that I’ve lived and then, wow! I have picture that reminds me of everything. Pictures are awesome, and this picture is just one of the best I have.

My favorite piece of technology
Well, I've never thought about my favorite piece of technology, so I started thinking and I could only think about one extremely and necessary piece... so, today I will talk to you about: My Hairdressing Scissors
This scissors are a kind of scissors used on beauty salons, they are professional scissors and I need them to survive day by day!
Well, I remember when I was 13, and I told my mom: "Hey mom! I hate this hair, why can't I cut it by myself?" She was like: "Are you mad!?", so then I searched for hairdressing scissors into every perfumery store I went to, until I found the perfect store with all hairdressing salon's tools. There, I found my beloved scissors and, since that day, I cut my hair all by myself.
My hair grows extremely quickly, and I love to cut my hair into freaky ways, so I refuse to go to salons, mostly because:
- they never leave your hair as you want
- they are so expensive.
So, I think I use them, aproximately, once a week, and they're really easy to use: I just take my hair, and cut it! haha, especially my fringe.
I guess I couldn't live without them because they're truly necessary for me and my hair. I'm always worried about my hair style, I guess is something that identifies me, so I think my life would be so unpleasant if I couldn't cut my hair like I want to.
So, I can only say: I love my hairdressing scissors!

Batman, a classic.
Hello guys!
So it was kind of difficult to decide my favourite superhero (I wanted so bad to talk about Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, but I didn't have information enough). So, I'm going to talk about my -real- favourite superhero: Batman.
Batman is a fictional character created for the americans Bob Kane y Bill Finger. His secret identity is Bruce Wayne, a multimillionaire business man who loves humanity. When he was a child, he saw the murder of his parents at the hands of criminals, and he swore revenge by capturing all of them from Ghotam City.
His costume is characteristic: he’s always dressed as a bat. This superhero doesn’t have superpowers, he just uses the latest technological applications to make weapons to fight crime. He lives at the Wayne mansion, where he has the classical “Batcave”, and has loyal allies, like Robin (his crime-fighting partner) or the heroine Batgirl.
Personally, I like Batman because he has no superpowers and that makes him so much closer to the humans. Also, I think Batman represents the dream of everyone, he has a lot of money but he isn't selfish. I guess that's his message: to do something good for the rest.

Jodorowsky? psychomagic? Let's see...
Hello guys!
Today I'm going to introduce a person that I admire: Alejandro Jodorowsky.
He's a chilean man with a lot of professions, like artist, film director, actor, and the most related with psychology is that he's a psychoanalyst, among many others.
He was born on 1929, and when he was 24, he left Chile and traveled to France seeking to learn more about art. In 1960, he traveled to Mexico and became interested on psychological and mystical issues.
His contribution to Psychology is the "Psychomagic", a controversial technique that mixes art, Eastern philosophizes and psychoanalysis, trying to make a catharsis into the patient. This technique assumes that the unconscious takes a symbolic act as a fact; so, any symbolic act could change the unconsciousness behaviour.
The therapist has to investigate about the patient's personality and family structure, and according to that information, he has to prepare a symbolic act that could help resolve some kind of irrational conflict inside the patient.
Some persons are really skepticals about this therapy because it has no scientific basis, but the same Jodorowsky has said that "it isn't located into science".
In my personal opinion, I believe in Psychomagic (and alternative therapies, in general) because I don't agree in the disrespect that science usually makes from another kinds of knowledge, that has thousands of years of wisdom. Psychomagic is different from the usual, with this therapy you won't find a "magic pill" to heal someone, it's a personalized therapy, and it has yielded many, and solid results.

500 Days of Summer, my favorite movie
Hello bloggers!
So, this is a special day because today I’m going to tell you about my favorite movie. It was truly difficult to make the choice, but finally I have chosen “500 Days of Summer”.
Before giving you my reasons, I will tell you some general aspects about the movie.
This is a comedy, drama and, of course, romantic film released in 2009. It was directed by Marc Webb, and stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt (as Tom Hansen) and Zooey Deschanel (as Summer Finn).
It narrates the story of Tom, a frustrated architect who works writing greeting cards messages, a boy who believes in eternal, honest and romantic love, whose life is actually empty until the day he meets Summer, the new assistant to his boss. She’s a girl who doesn’t believe in love, she thinks on “living the moment” without getting responsibilities.
Well, what do you think?.. Tom sees her and, of course! immediately falls in love: she’s everything he have dreamed of, they listen to the same music, read the same books, make fun at the same things. But there’s a little –but important- difference: he thinks he had found the love of his life. She doesn’t think so.
One peculiarity of the film is that it shows the end since the beginning: we all know they break up. The important thing here is to know the separation process, the meeting process, how do they love each other and how do they hate each other. How Tom creates all a story inside his head and how Summer has an idea completely different. How Tom teaches her to believe in eternal love, and how she teaches him to don’t believe on it at all.
They show us a reality inside many couples: when you’ve got a different idea, when you expect something different of your partner, then it’s really difficult to stay together. And that's why I really really love this movie. Basically it came to me in the very moment of my life. I could even say that this movie made me “open” my eyes and see that, well, we all suffer sometime for love and then we think that life is unfair and we cry and all we want to do is just die. Okay, that's part of the process, but then I realized that life isn’t like all the non-ending love stories that we hear when we’re childrens.
Another aspect that makes me really love it, is the soundtrack. Regina Spektor, The Smiths, She & Him and many others artists are involved, the right song at the right scene and that makes all the movie simply amazing.
So, I've got a present for you! Here we have the Official Trailer!!
